Grass Hopper

Isn't he so cute, or maybe is I should say, handsome.

This is what I had my camera set at.
I was using my Micro Lens 60mm, f/4.5, shutter speed 1/125, ISO 200.

That is a beautiful photo!

For my applesauce all I do is:

Peel, core and chop whatever apple you like, enough to fill your crockpot, since it will break down. Add one or two cinnamon sticks, and put it on low. No water, no sugar, nothing. Just let it cook until it is the consistency that you like it to be.

We let ours cook down until it is very mushy, and then put in the fridge until it is cold and then freeze it. We often have it warm over vanilla ice cream!

@ Becca, Thanks for the info on the recipe, Sounds easy, ..... also a lot like the apple butter I made in October. Love Apples!

@ Stacy, thanks, I couldn't believe he sat still so long and letting me get so close to him. I think he liked getting his picture taken, He was a posing grass hopper. hehe
