Mushrooms

We have had a lot of rain lately, these little guys came up on the bottom of my hanging baskets under my arbor last week, I think they are so cool looking.

Slide

A couple weeks back Me and Dory got to go out of town on a shopping trip. This is near the Convention Center were we go. Every time I see it, I wonder what it is? I know it's a slide of some sort, maybe with water, just not sure about the big cone like thing. It looks like it could be fun. Don't you think?

The Potter's Hand

We sang this song in church today ... I just love it,
I am so thankful that something so wonderful keeps repeating in my head.

Beautiful Lord, Wonderful Savior,
I know for sure,
all of my days are held in your hand
and crafted in to your perfect plan.
You gently call me in to your presents,
guiding me by, your Holy Sprit,
teach me, Dear Lord,
to live all of my life through your eyes,
I'm captured by your Holy calling,
set me apart,
I know you drawing me to yourself
lead me, Lord, I pray,
take me, hold me, use me, fill me,
I give my life to the Potter's Hand
hold me, guide me, lead me, walk beside me,
I give my life to the Potter's Hand.
Have a Blessed Day!!

Sundays

Of all the days that's in the week
I dearly love but one day
And that's the day that comes betwixt
A Saturday and Monday.

Correction to my baby locust post

Mr. Lucky informed me that I was incorrect in calling my bug friend, a baby locust. So, I googled him and this is what I found ... He is a Cicada, - they have large eyes wide apart on the head and usually transparent well-veined wings, Cicadas are sometimes called "locusts" although they are unrelated to true locusts. They are also called "dry flies" because of the dry shell that they leave behind. Cicadas do not bite or sting, but can cause damage to several cultivated crops, shrubs, and trees, AND can you believe this ... Many people around the world eat cicadas, the female is prized, as it is meatier ... Yuck .... Thanks, Mr. Lucky for making me learn something new today.

Baby Locust

Stop here if you don't like bugs...

This little guy fell out of a tree and landed on my shoulder...
liked to have scared me to death.
Once I recovered from the scare, I ran in the house to get my camera.
He was so cute.
When I was taking his picture, he kept coming towards
me trying to figure out what I was.

Omelet Anyone?
We had a customer bring us fresh eggs in to work the other day.
but, before I could use them of course I had to take a picture of them. I just love the soft brown color of fresh eggs.

Hydrangea

I took many shots of this earlier this summer, I just love hydrangea bushes, BIG clusters of many little flowers ... I can't help but to be amazed at God's handy work when I get to see something like this.
