@ Stacy, I wish it was my barn, I'm a county girl at heart but I'm stuck in the city. I wish I could pick up my house and move it out in the country. All I have is a small Red shed. heheheh. It first guess, I would say no, about it being a Amish farm. but I could be wrong. I've never seen any buggy's or any thing like that. :o) Its right cross from my boyfriends church in the next town over. I always look at it as we're leaving. Hey! I wonder if I could do a smaller version or some other quilt block on my red shed? ..... It might look silly? :o)
I think a small quilt block on your shed would be cool. You could do a simple pattern, live with it for a few months or a year, and if after that you thought it looked funny, paint over it. Are there many barns with quilt blocks on them where you live? I seem to recall reading about an area that has a bunch of them. Lori
