I'm not sure what type of bird he is, but, we nicknamed him Little Chubby.
I hope I don't offend anyone with my lack of bird knowledge.
I do want to get a book to learn the names.
I took a lot of pictures of this little guy, he
stayed at the feeder a loooong time.
I guess that's how he's gotten so chubby. :o)
This cracks me up.... If you look close he still has food on his beak.
He's so darn cute.
It has turned out to be bird week at my blog/house.

Quite the chubster you photographed. I tend to put on a few pounds during the winter months as well. Takes a lot of food to keep the fire burning when it's cold outdoors.
